Double the love | Spontaneous Twins
Okay, so it is no surprise to anyone that I absolutely adore newborns and my job. So when I have the pleasure of photographing twin newborns it's a dream. Here i am with these beautiful girls and the coolest mom and dad who allowed me to lead the session with my favorite shades and textures. Mom loves neutral tones which is right up my alley. The creamy goodness that I was able to create with the girl set ups are gorgeous.
The girls were born a little early and spent just one night in the NICU, for twins one night in the NICU is a serious win. The girls graduated quickly and went over to the nursery and spent about a month there. After which they came in to see me and let me snuggle them...hehe! What was extra special, is while they were at the hospital their aunt scheduled their session for them as a gift! Such a sweet sweet gesture.
Although their gallery looks super peaceful ( as it should haha) Twin sessions are a lot of work. There is usually one baby that is done for the count and another who just wants to hang with me and party. The trick is getting them both to want to rest and sleep at the same time to be able to capture those joint poses. Also, super important to have an additional set of hands to help assist you with the babies. I have the best assistant Jenna. Our clients and babies love her!
